Selected after school playgrounds will offer children in the 7 th through 8 th grades, seasonal sports leagues, clinics as well as trips, and special events. Trained Recreation Leaders will teach fundamental skills, strategy and the mental aspects of sports beginning with sportsmanship. Join us to help provide a positive and educational foundation for healthier and safer kids and a safer and stronger El Monte.

A Sports Shuttle will be provided at most playground sites and is open to the public. First come first serve basis. Shuttle restricted to Boys & Girls ages 12-14. Times will vary; please contact Sports Office for weekliy pick-up times.

How to Register:

Registration has already begun at each selected playground site and will continue throughout the remainder of the season. Please see Recreation Leaders on site. If program is not offered at your scholl site then you are welcome to join at the nearest location.

•  Fill out and turn in a signed and completed registration/waiver form, which can be picked-up at one of the designated playground sites. Or simply print out and return registration form available for you at the link below and return to recreation leader at your designated school.

•  Submit a $10.00 registration fee with form. (Covers Secondary Medical Insurance)

•  Each participant will receive one (1) FREE jersey per year upon registrstion. Each additional jersey will cost $10.00.
