ADULT SOCCER

Well-organized, clean, safe and fun soccer leagues are a great way to get in shape and meet new people. Outdoor 6 on 6 player leagues are being offered. Officiating, schedules, awards for top teams, statistics and standings are included. League registration is now being taken. League games are played on Mondays (co-ed) Thursdays (Men) and Sundays (Men and Women). League Cost: $400 per team

ADULT SOFTBALL

Adult softball leagues are offered to those enthusiasts who desire recreational level softball in a well-organized league format. Teams play weekly at Mt. View High School , Pioneer Park and Mt. View Park . Adult softball leagues are offered on Tuesday through Friday, and Sundays. Coed softball plays on Wednesdays and Masters 40 & over softball plays on Tuesdays. Umpiring, scorekeeping, standings, statistics and game balls are included. Registration for the upcoming softball leagues is being taken now. League cost: $400 per team

SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS

Softball tournaments are a great way to spend the weekend with family and friends. El Monte 's tournament series is geared toward those teams that want to get extra softball experience outside of league play. Tournaments often conclude in one day and include awards for first, second and third place teams. Individual awards are given to Tournament MVP, Golden Glove and All-Tournament Team. ADULT BASKETBALL

Adult Basketball leagues play on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. All leagues are well organized and include CIF-certified officiating, scorekeeping, computerized statistics and awards for the top finishing teams. 40 and older, 6' & under and 6'02" & under leagues are also offered. 40 and older leagues play on Tuesdays, 6'and under plays on Fridays and 6'02" and under plays on Sundays. Thursdays is reserved for all open height teams. Teams play weekly at Lambert Park Boomer Gymnasium. Registration is currently being accepted. League Cost: $400 per team

GOLF LEAGUE

More information for the 2008 season will be available late January.

The El Monte Community Services Department will be hosting its annual 2008 Adult Golf League. The Golf League is scheduled to begin in March , 2008. Golf matches will be played by two person teams on regulation courses. Entry fees include mailing of weekly standings and adjusted handicaps, golfer's breakfast, League awards and the Byron E. Thompson Tournament . Enrollment is limited. Entry fee is $148 per golfer (two person teams).
